L’ENFANT DU MARAIS

A place that evokes a kind of tropical Giverny. This child from behind is perhaps Claude Monet imagining the garden of water and fire that he would create years later in Giverny. There is also the memory of reading Alain Fournier’s novel, Le Grand Meaulnes, a story that is both initiatory and dreamlike, where the marvelous and the real never stop overlapping.
