Lars Beusker (D) was named New York wildlife photographer of the year

The jury chose him for his fascinating close-ups. Unlike other nature photographers, Beusker always tries to make eye contact with the animal. For this he does not use long lenses, but tries to get very close to the animal. No great photographer gets as close to animals as Lars. “I also want to capture in my photos the emotions I feel at the moment of shooting.” Unique moments in black and white, beautiful portraits of animals the likes of which we rarely see.

Lars Beusker is regarded by art connoisseurs as the new world star of nature photography. His phenomenal works can be seen on April 21, 22, 23 and 28, 29, 30 and May 1 in the Rochus Art Church in Kortrijk.

There are also exhibitions by artists Marianne Turck and Jean Paul Kala.
